Privacy Policy

Effective July 8, 2026

Loga is for honest thinking, and that only works if what you write stays yours. We've tried to say plainly what we collect, why we need it, and where it goes.

The short version

We collect only what the app needs to work — your profile, your reflections, your conversations with the coach, your goals and plans. We don't sell any of it. We don't use it for advertising. We don't share it with third parties except the infrastructure services that make the app run (listed below).

Because Loga uses AI coaching, the content you write — including your journal entries, context answers, and coach conversations — is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. That content is processed under Anthropic's API data use policy and is not used to train their models.

You own what you write. You can ask us to delete your account and all your data at any time, directly from the app.

The full version

1. Who we are

Loga is operated by MOG co. ("we," "us," "our"). We can be reached at hello@loga.app.

2. What we collect

When you use Loga, we collect and store the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Your name and email address, collected when you create an account via Apple Sign In or email.
  • Onboarding answers. The personal reflection questions you answer when setting up Loga — your life context, what matters to you, what gets in your way.
  • Journal entries. The text you write in the daily journal, along with dates and timestamps.
  • Coach conversations. The messages you send to and receive from your AI coach, along with session metadata.
  • Goals and plans. The goals you set and the life improvement plans your coach helps you develop.
  • Session notes. Running notes the AI coach maintains about you — synthesized from your conversations — to provide continuity across sessions.
  • Usage state. App-derived metrics (such as behavioral momentum and emotional pattern) used to personalize your coaching experience.

We do not collect your location, contacts, camera, or any data from other apps on your device.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above solely to:

  • Provide and maintain the app and its features
  • Generate AI coaching responses personalized to you
  • Persist your data across sessions and devices
  • Send transactional communications (account-related messages only)
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues

We do not use your personal content for marketing, profiling, or advertising purposes. We do not build profiles of you for sale to third parties.

4. AI processing

Loga's coaching features are powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. When you interact with your coach, relevant content from your profile — including your context answers, session notes, recent journal entries, goals, and conversation history — is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response.

Anthropic processes this data under their API usage policy. Per that policy, content sent via the API is not used to train Anthropic's models. You can review Anthropic's privacy practices at anthropic.com/privacy.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Loga. Each receives only the data necessary for its function:

  • Supabase (supabase.com) — Database and authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure, hosted on AWS in the United States.
  • Anthropic (anthropic.com) — AI model provider. Receives the content described in section 4 to generate coaching responses.
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication, App Store subscription processing, and payment handling. Apple's privacy policy governs all interactions with Apple services.
  • Superwall (superwall.com) — Subscription and paywall management. Receives anonymized usage signals to manage subscription state.

We do not sell your data to any of these parties or to anyone else. We share your data with them only to the extent necessary to provide the app's services to you.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the app's Settings screen, we delete all data associated with your account from our systems. Backups may retain data for up to 30 days following deletion.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the Settings screen in the app. For other requests, contact us at hello@loga.app and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, secure authentication, and encrypted data transmission. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your personal information seriously, especially given the sensitive nature of what you share in Loga.

9. Children's privacy

Loga is not intended for users under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@loga.app and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. If we make changes that affect how we handle your data in a meaningful way, we'll notify you through the app or by email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
