Terms of Service

The short version

Loga is a tool for honest self-examination. Use it honestly. Don't misuse the platform, don't try to break things, and don't use it in ways that could harm yourself or others.

We offer the app in good faith. We'll work hard to keep it running well, but we can't guarantee it will be perfect. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you've paid us in the past twelve months.

You own everything you write. We don't claim any rights to your reflections, your journal entries, or your conversations with the coach.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Loga ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and MOG co. ("we," "us," "our"), the company that operates Loga.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the App or by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Loga is a personal reflection and goal-setting application that uses AI-assisted coaching to help you clarify what matters to you and work toward it. The App provides tools for journaling, self-examination, goal tracking, and conversation with an AI coach.

Loga is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, medical advice, or crisis support. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use Loga. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@loga.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 17 years old to use Loga. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Loga offers subscription plans that unlock full access to the App. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are governed by Apple's payment terms. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law or Apple's standard refund policies.

Subscription prices may change. We'll provide reasonable notice before any price changes take effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to harass, harm, or impersonate others
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Scrape, extract, or republish content from the App without permission
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these provisions.

6. Your Content

Everything you write in Loga — your reflections, journal entries, context answers, and coach conversations — belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely to provide the App's services to you. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

7. Intellectual Property

All other content in the App — including the design, code, text, branding, and AI systems — is owned by MOG co. or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8. AI-Generated Content

The coaching conversations in Loga are generated by AI. While we work to ensure the AI responds thoughtfully and accurately, AI-generated responses may sometimes be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. Do not rely on coach responses as a substitute for professional advice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Loga is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MOG co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MOG co. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the App's settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MOG co. regarding the App. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
